How To Cook Sirloin Steak On Stove Video Transcript
alright folks welcome back to anothervideo
much like the title says electric stove
cheap pan perfect steak with no problem
so let's spin you around the ingredients
show you what we have and after so are
very very simple ingredients obviously
some potatoes we're going to make up a
quick mash some olive oil sea salt fresh
clothes ground pepper some half sticks
of butter not sure why my wife did that
to navel we have two of those to make a
full stick and a Certified Angus sirloin
steak alright so we got our potatoes
peeled waters on the back there just cut
these up get them then come over a
little smaller so they
now we'll wait without to cook up a
little bit and season up our steak and
get it on so while we wait on that
little proper beverage management some
hop fleet hop sleek white IPA first one
I promise from the same house pretty
good
and so tip number one meat out of the
fridge I do in holler but at least 20
minutes I guess to let it come up to
room temperature again I do our a little
longer even better so first thing we're
gonna do season up our board get some
sea salt on that rabbit some pepper
roll-off steak right on til up press it
down flip it Sam again on the other side
so I've rinsed my hands a little bit
more salt on that second side push it in
and it's ready to go
all right so tip number three not sure
you can see it that pan is just starting
to smoke it's a nonstick pan and I'm not
a scientist or doctor or anything like
that but some people say it's bad for
you I don't worry about it today's day
and age everything's bad for you you
know milk eggs everything that used to
be good for you somehow bad for you so
I'm gonna add a little bit of olive oil
to that pan
you want a good spin if you can see the
smoke now and then lay our stake that's
a pretty spit Cup sirloin probably you
can afford that GoPro but pretty much
it's almost a double cut so without the
treats out a bit different than a tennis
date as far as flipping it to it
once you lay it in the pan like that
another key just leave it alone don't
even touch it and you want to pretty
little fork and check under it and do
all that and we'll just leave it be
learning to cook
three to five minutes probably closer to
the five-minute mark because it color
sticks on either side and then there's a
little extra there at the end we'll get
these but again just leave that thing do
I don't know if you can see that but
starting to cook up through the bottom
while we wait and again don't touch it
you crack this a little proper beverage
management while you wait so it's been
probably full minutes now almost 5 and
we're gonna just flip it now
perfect not burnt some of the fatty bit
from the edge look a little bit burnt
about going to be some moment if the
faucet on this side
move the oil around a little bit again
let it be
so after we go to flip it again you can
rest it right up on that fat in you can
see I think right there
cooking through my sleep but again it's
pretty sick when we go to sit there on
that fatty edge for a bit
right now
we'll add in some water
for efficient
let that melt down
and the oil helps keep that butter from
burning but out of it meltdown we will
just face the fake
awesome watery flavor my oil again helps
keep it nice and moist
we'll give it a another minute on this
side flip it beat the other side for
another minute and you should be pretty
good at that point I was looking for a
medium part of this all right
what there are spoons
we base them on the side
I think I forgot to add
we flipped it on the second side and
then before I spit it up I took the heat
out of the pan so it wasn't up on high
anymore sorry what
face them
again we'll give it another minute on
this side I'm gonna turn the heat down
just a little bit more I should be here
take it out
on the plate all that deliciousness
leftover in that pan feel those bits
that came off from the steak caramelized
that's a start
pull the makings of an awesome sauce I
could use use with your mashed mashed
potatoes and what have you so we will
let that steak rest probably 10 minutes
just cover it
and speaking of mash we can go ahead and
fix those up right now as well all that
steak rests
there's our potatoes add another floor
stick of butter a little milk now we get
mash up
perfect mash alright so we've been about
ten minutes so don't tell me Derek show
me all right that out of the way you see
all the juices coming up and again we're
looking for close to medium this may be
more medium medium rare because it's so
thick that's why we did the couple extra
flips there anyways but I got my partner
in crime here with me
the real Sarge so he's gonna enjoy this
with me so I'll just do a couple cuts
off of that oh man just to show you that
looks like that it's pretty medium and
juicy and succulent are you kidding me
right now
see how it's more more medium than
medium rare which is exactly how I
prefer my steak and that was a thick cut
- you don't just pull that apart with my
fingers Wow sorry about this hmm
that was amazing so enough talking let's
plate this up without mashing see what
we get
well I did add a quarter of that second
stick of butter a quarter of that second
half a stick of butter and out of that
very creamy smooth awesome mashed
potatoes pretty good sized dollop of
that press it in just a touch
that are perfectly cooked sterling from
electric stove and a cheap pan awesome
I'll just a couple small cuts off to the
side again you just have a look at the
nice warm pink Center medium perfect
happy one there in the middle we will
move these bits off that's gonna be from
my pup cut those up for him but like I
said that sauce in that pan or the
remnants of what we cooked in could make
a ridiculous sauce as well but I'm just
gonna take those juices that would rest
them from the steak and just right over
the top of the potatoes steak and there
this is my finished dish perfectly
cooked steak electric stove cheap pan no
problem so I shall give it another go
that is so good
someone hot match I see that the juices
come on oh nice and creamy and smooth
love mashed potatoes sagas sitting right
overhead waiting because he knows well
I'll spare you guys I don't think I need
to tell you how good that actually is
but uh you don't always need
top-of-the-line stuff we're definitely
gonna switch out from the electric to a
gas stove that's just what the house
came with when we bought it but uh I
prefer a gas but you don't need it
right cheap an electric stove brilliant
staked awesome mashed potatoes and very
very simple to do so uh I'm gonna go
tuck into this I appreciate you guys
watching another video all your comments
and support as always and I will catch
you again soon take care
and as promised full up up a little bit
of mash cut up the rest of that form
it looks like these are tearing himself
again as you can see perfectly cooked
awesome
you gonna me bully I think he likes it
