How To Use Wax Melts Video Transcript
hi this is Wendy Salaam co-founder ofhack creek candle company and today I'd
like to talk to you about an exciting
product our electric cart warmers and
melts and scented tarts we have found
that these are a great product when you
want the quality fragrance of Hat Creek
without the upkeep of the candle burning
candles burning are wonderful and they
smell great and they add a lot of
ambiance but there are times when you
don't want to keep track of keeping the
wick trimmed and having having the flame
to be aware of so we found that our
scented melty cubes and our cookie melt
of the wonderful fragrance of Pat Creek
without the upkeep of the candle
basically you start with an electric
tart warmer we have a few different
styles are smaller styles such as this
has the Live Love Laugh inscription on
it
and these are electric they have a nice
nice sized core that you can plug them
in and then there's just a simple switch
on here you just click the switch so
there's a little red dot here let's you
know it's on we have different melt
materials one our melted cubes which are
take it has six little on individual
cubes you pop out one or two or three
the amount of melted wax you have will
give you how strong a fragrance you have
so if you don't want a really strong
fragrance you just put one in if you
want a little stronger you put two or
three so I'll just pop these out put it
right here into my top dish and it will
begin to warm and melt I already have
one that's been melted here and it will
just turn from the cube form right into
take the dish it will take the dish
shape so it just melts right into the
as long as I as long as I want to enjoy
the fragrance each cube lasts at least
10 hours most of our customers tell us
it's a lot more than that but at least
10 hour hours out of each cube and they
come in all of our wonderful half-baked
fragrances so all references have have
melt so you can get any fragrance that
you'd like so you just keep it on as
long as you want if you have children or
pets around this give kids warm enough
to melt if a child would put their hand
in the warm wax it would get their
attention but it doesn't get hot enough
and when your don't want to smell it
anymore you just turn the switch off
turn the switch back to the normal
setting it will turn off it'll cool and
it will harden the wax will Harden and
then the next day when you want to smell
again
you just turn it back on it does not
consume the wax like a candle burning
the wax is not going to dissipate and go
away and get used as fuel as an account
burning it just melts the fragrance out
so you will still have this this webs
here after about let's say 10 20 hours
of ripe fragrance you'll notice that
you're just not smelling it as much
anymore it has melted all the fragrance
out of the wax that the wax still
remains then we suggest turning it off
letting it cool and right here it's a
little bit warm out today so what I've
done is I took my top dish and I put it
in the freezer for just a couple minutes
after it had hardened and it shrinks the
wax just a bit so it literally slides
right out so you have a nice clean dish
you know no mess to clean up and I can
just discard this then throw this away
and put in put in new melts if you don't
want to wait for it to cool I know some
people will even take it while it's warm
and again take a take up pot holder or
something on your hands what this does
get hot and you can put like some
newspaper in your garbage can melt the
hot wax right into your newspaper it
cools you know quickly and then just
wipe this out with a paper towel I've
found the cold ways just very clean and
easy but if you don't want to wait for
the little bit for that you could do the
form way another like I said these are
our melty queues there are 550 each and
they come in all of our wonderful
fragrances and there's six little cubes
here so you just pop out one or two or
three however many you want and put it
in your dish another great product that
we have we're becoming famous for
actually after being on the Food Network
on unwrapped are our cookie mills
these are a lot of fun they're really
great gifts they look and smell like
cookies this one is a chocolate chip it
smells wonderful even complete with
little wax chocolate chips this
completely melts all of this is wax
there isn't anything that is artificial
or plastic or real food it's all made
out of wax even though it looks looks
really real same idea you take your
whole cookie and you just put it right
here you just put it right here into
your top dish and turn it on and then
the heat from the unit will melt it and
it'll melt and give you the fragrance of
that cookie of that cookie going it does
not retain the look of the cookie after
it melts it will turn back into its wax
form so you will be left with a you know
this will be a tan colored disc after it
melts it won't still look like a cookie
obviously but it gives you that
wonderful scent of talk of chips or
maple pecan or lemon or just really
wonderful cookie sense
same kind of thing each cookie lasts
about 25 hours approximately it'll vary
and will vary a little bit and same idea
keep turning on on and off as you want
to smell it over the course of you know
many days and when you have used all of
that and melted all of the scent away
from that cookie you will just be left
with a plain wax which again it will
just pop out throw away and then move on
our cookie melts come in our eight
classic flavors in a nice cute
decorative bag like this with chocolate
chip coconut macaroon double chocolate
fudge Gingerbread lemon tea maple pecan
peanut butter blossom and snickerdoodle
so you get eight classic cookies there
we also come in a four pack of any one
so if you discover you really love the
maple pecan you can just get like a four
pack of the maple pecan cookies in their
own bag and then seasonally we always
add four four new ones so we always have
great fall
holiday winters for
in the summer we always have four new
seasonal ones for you to enjoy
and we had a lot of fun making them too
and again they are completely made of
wax
this one is our maple pecan which is a
favorite of mine it's like a nice butter
pecan vanilla made ball pecan notes and
again this pecan looks good enough to
eat but but don't
it is completely waxed and it will melt
in your water and give you the wonderful
fragrance we have a lot of people that
have been telling us that they want to
sell their house and they use the
warmers and the cookies and just give it
that extra cozy warm feeling and has
been very profitable and helpful in
people selling their house another
product we have if you really enjoy the
candle factory smell and it smells
wonderful healer here and I wish I could
send it through you to you through the
computer but I can't we have a great
product on called mystery girls
different scented chunk wax and you will
take it and put a piece or several
pieces of that in your warmer you get a
big bag of this for only six dollars so
it's a really good value and the scents
are varied you will get all of our
different scents in the bag some might
have you know four or five cents on
might have ten you just never know and
it will give you a candle factory smell
so if you like the smell of all
different scents blending together
you'll love this in it's a great value
those are our mystery melts so it's
another melt option so again we have
several several different melts for you
to choose from we have our melty cubes
in all of our pet creek fragrances we
have our wonderful classic cookie melts
in our eight classic fragrance then we
always have seasonal selections as well
and the tart warmers to choose from the
small design or the large design
depending on your decor very easy to use
we have a one-year warranty on all of
our warmers if anything were to go wrong
we of course replace that and if so
always we would guarantee and all of our
fragrances if you get a fragrance you
said you just don't like it let us know
